On November 29th, Derek was born three weeks early. Aside from a little Jaundice that was taken care of with a couple days of phototherapy, he's healthy and doing great. Sarah and I are delighted to have a beautiful son to share our lives with.
Sarah and I bought a house in June. We're planning to convert it from a multi-family into a single family home and completely gut it. We moved in a couple of months ago, and all of our progress is on our house blog, Two Flat: Remade. Check it out!
We've been married for over a year now and it's time to decide what to do with this website. Sarah and I will figure it out adjust things accordingly. In the mean time we'll see you on Facebook.
Yesterday was our big day, and we're so happy that so many of our friends and family made it to celebrate the occasion with us. Thanks to all of you! We are so pleased with how everything worked out, including the weather, the food, the music, and we hope that everyone had a wonderful time. If you didn't get a program and would like one, let us know. We're all out of the truffles though!
Tomorrow we're hopping on a plane to Thailand, and we're getting packed and ready now. The car will pick us up at 9:00 am and we will be gone until Saturday, October 10th.
Thank you again to everyone for the thoughtful compliments and the generous gifts. We'll get to work on writing our thank you notes and adding pictures to the website as soon as we get back. For now, we're planning to relax and enjoy the tropics.
The directions to the ceremony in the invitations say to exit I-94 at Crisman Road. While this is technically correct, the exit is not labeled Crisman Road. It is Exit 19, labeled Indiana 249, "Port of Indiana", and "Portage". We don't want anyone to get lost, so please pass the word along to anyone else you know that is coming, especially if they are not familiar with the area! We'll send an email as well to make sure that everyone knows.
