I HATE wedding planning

Sarah - January 20th

Sorry, I have to put in a rant post. I HATE WEDDING PLANNING. Maybe it's because I'm taking three classes this quarter at DePaul and working fulltime AND trying to plan this damn wedding. Maybe it's because I've been told by magazines, TV, other people that this is supposed to be a fun and happy time. And MAYBE it wouldn't be so bad if the caterer would just call us back. But, hey we've already been stood-up by one caterer, what's another one to add to the count? Except that we can only pick from three caterers, one which has crappy food and two which won't call us back.
I'm ready to elope. I'm ready to throw it to the wind and concentrate on school which I'm not sorry to say is much more important than my wedding. It determines the REST OF MY LIFE and not one single day. Feeling romantic about it? Oh, not today. Today I'm ready to hire wedding coordinator so someone else can stalk the caterer, which frankly I have gotten tired of doing. Do they want business or what? WTF is wrong with these people?!
I'm trying to scrape together all of the addresses of everyone that we want to invite, but that is a headache, too. I've found almost everyone on the Internet, but still need to call and confirm that the information is accurate. It may have just been easier to call in the first place at this point. And, we still don't have a ceremony site since the pavilion is still up in the air until probably after March. One more worry on the backburner. Ugh.

I feel your pain. I called every house cleaning service in RI but only 2 companies answered the phone. Jeff works 2 jobs and my fibro is making it hard to keep up with the house work. good luck.

How time flies! It is already 2009, which is hard for me to believe at this moment. Looking back upon 2008, there are many great memories to cherish. We went on a cruise to the Caribbean with my family in March. The summer brought a new job for me in June and an excellent trip to Door County with Matt's family in August. September sprang upon me with a surprise trip to Paris where Matt proposed to me on the anniversary of our third year together. The picture below is of the night that he proposed at a very swank and very authentic French restaurant. I've also added a few other pictures of Paris, since I could not resist. Paris will always have a special place in my heart.
